Thanks for the feedback. Yes, me and dad were at the T3 terminal and got a tour of the A380 after the passengers deplaned. It was a good event organised by Emirates. It was quite an experience to be at the airport when its new and empty, in addition to the aircraft. Rare opportunity to indulge in photography. It was a silent movie and the idea was to add a sound stripe so you could record sound effects etc. But that was not done so perhaps at some stage there is need to do a digital restoration of sorts as a special "director's cut" with enhanced image and sound. You actually dug out the vintage footage and photos and blogged them! Should have also shown a shot of the manual splicer, cutting and pasting edits with scissors and chemicals. Must also mention how the film had to be couriered abroad for processing as such facilities weren't available in India at that time. Was it a silent movie, or did you strip in a sound-strip later?
