An interdisciplinary journey in photography and movement for dancers and photographers conducted by photographer David Bergé and choreographer Trajal Harrell was organized by dance forum GATI . Held at the Goethe Institute/Max Mueller Bhavan, “Choreo-Photo-Graphy” examined a unique intersection: What do photographers see when they look at a dance? What do dancers see when they look at an image?
For the workshop exhibition – for which participants had to create their projects within three hours – I created two installations offering my perspectives on Choreo-Photo-Graphy: “The Idiot Box Killed The Dancing Star” and “If You Meet The Choreographer On The Way, Shoot Her/Him… Only Then Is Everything Fluid” (a performance art piece featuring dancer and fellow participant Elena Catalano).
